IATF 16949 Cl. 8.4.1.2 d) Multidisciplinary Decision Making

We utilize a supplier self survey for those suppliers not currently certified to 9001 or better, and we've added language to assess delivery and quality performance, but what can I ask to determine whether or not they utilize multidisciplinary decision making? I know what it is, and understand the intent of the requirement. I'm just not sure how to phrase a question about that in a supplier survey. Any ideas?

We were actually laughing a bit about this after I posted the question. Now, I feel kind of stupid! LOL We came up with the very simple, "Does your company utilize multidisciplinary decision making?" In hindsight, that wasn't so hard. Any ideas to improve upon that?
