Good Morning

I work as quality manager for a small plastic injection molder that supplies to the automotive industry. We have been investing more and more into Process Monitoring as a way to better control our process. Today we document key dimensions and take measurements based on samples/frequency defined in our Control Plan and this data is recorded in our SPC system. We now have the ability to record Process Monitoring data as well directly into our SPC system.

I'm curious if anyone has experience they can share tracking Process data in their SPC system and do you document this in your control plan? What is the feedback from your customer? Have you reduced your dimensional checks?

Usually the SPC is mentioned in "control method" column of a control plan.
