Hi All,
I have a question that I am unable to answer: I have a company that is ISO9001 certified who has a contract for a automotive customer (their only one) . They will not be doing the manufacturing of the supplied product but are outsourcing the complete manufacturing process and drop shipping the product to the customer. Their supplier is IATF certified, however the customer is asking them to become IATF certified and their CB is saying they are not manufacturing automotive parts and therefore would have a hard time justifying the certification.
Any insight to this problem? I am asking them to set a meeting up with the customer to try and convince them otherwise.
Thanks,
AL40
