IATF Rules 5 SI Aftermarket Parts

Did the IATF just add aftermarket parts to be eligible to be included in its certification if customers require it?

No rules 6 isn't supposed to come out until maybe next year. They release SI changes for both the rules and the actual standard until there is a new major release.

I think since the original was released in 2016 that the newest standard will be coming out before 2026, but until then we need the sanctioned interpretations, right?

They are far from “interpretations.“. They’re wholesale changes.
