Hi All,
I have a quick question, but I do not find it easy to find a definite answer to.
In 60601-1-1 there is a reference voltage U used to determine the voltage of the electrical stress tests across barriers. My understanding is the peak or DC voltage is used for this, however it seems previously this has been taken to be RMS. SO for normal 240V mains I would take U to be 339V.
Might there be a difference between Issue 2 and 3? Issue 2 is still used in China.
Thanks
Nick
