Hi,
I have a table which is mounted to wall and can lift 50kg, but I am stuck with 9.8.2 clause. Because of lifting up to 50 kilos, according to 9.8.2 test I need to load up to 400 kg mass to test systems mechanical strenght (safety tensile factor).
Is there any other opportunity to conform with clause 9.8.2, than testing with total load x tensile factor load? Because it is difficult to test components and it is required of having a lot of weights. 601 standard states that it is possible to cover this clause with risk management. Maybe any suggestions how? Is it enough to show max load of what components are capable of and materials' descrption in risk management file?
