Hi,
I am looking at doing some in-house testing (pre-compliance) with a 5KV defibrillator tester to test against the effect of defibrillation.
Part of the test requires metal foil to be in close contact with the enclosure during these tests. In one of these tests, the HV test pulse is applied between the applied parts and the metal foil.
The standard does not give any more specifications in relation to the metal foil.
Does anybody know what type of metal foil is normally used for these tests? ie what thickness or material would be used and would it have to be flexible?
Thanks in Advance..
Regards
