Hi, I would like to ask for opinions or facts on below queries.
I have seen some LED products being tested with both IEC 62471 and IEC/TR 62778 together in a test report, while some are just tested for IEC/TR 62778.
1. Is it sufficient to just test a LED in a product for IEC/TR 62778?
2. How is IEC/TR 62778 incorporated into IEC 62471 testing? Are all tests (UV, blue light, thermal, infrared etc.) carried out at 200mm, or just the blue light testing?
3. How is the test report written, and particularly, how is the risk group reported? Is it important to specify the RG rating to a particular standard?
Many of those test reports are written in different ways. I am hoping to get more precise inputs here.
