Before you do so, I would make sure you've established a good answer to Brad's question:
"why do you have a signature? What does it mean? What does it imply? "
Controlling a signature can take many forms...most take a good deal of design and implementation work.
Make sure the signature actually means something before you bother investing effort into controlling it.
I've rarely seen a digital signature that had any value other than internal...and a 'password-to-modify' checkbox on a form would have accomplished the same thing.
"Authorized Issue Documents"...could simply be on a red-stamped page...and only the person whose signature you're after has the red stamp.
Back up and think of what you're trying to accomplish...and find an easier way. Only do digital sign if the singnature actually means something in itself. (assumption of liability, commitment to contractual obligation, etc.)
