Hi All,

Anybody here could give me an insight regarding implementation requirement? We are scheduled to be audited this coming Aug.(29,30).Is it ok if we implement the system just only two weeks? We stated in our quality manual that effectivity date of our system is May 2,2005 and all procedures start its implementation on this date. But ,in order to lessen the records that the auditors might checked, we are planning for two weeks implementation only.
Therefore,less record will be checked...

Is it possible?Do i need to change the effectivity date in all our procedures?or revision will be made to all our procedures?

Thank you

In just two weeks or just for two weeks?

Anyway, you are a little late with implementation.....
I reckon that a quality manual states what your company is doing, not wat it is going to do or should have been doing (by May 2nd)!

Is this a trial audit or the real thing?
Otherwise I guess the audit is coming to soon....sorry.

Good luck!!

Just in Time Quality?

I have been occasionally been accused of doing things at the last minute but I think this is stretching it.

What do you mean by you have only started implementing things for two weeks? Do you mean you have only started making things for two weeks?

I would be very uncomfortable as as assessor.

I think you need to discuss this with your assessing body

Can you really demonstrate system compliance, i.e. record keeping including management reviews of your operating quality system, audit system performance and demonstrate continual improvement with just two weeks data.

It sounds to me that you could save yourself the effort by just finding an appropriate Registrar and purchase a certificate.

I with Randy on this one. From this quote, it appears to me that you aren't really interested in any "improvements" that you could gain from a proper implementation of a Management System; but are totally after that piece of paper to hang on the wall.

Why not find a shyster registrar that will virtually sell you the certificate and continue business as usual (in-fact just print one up yourself, it will be worth just as much and will cost you a lot less).

Thanks Guys,
Actually ,our scope of certification is 3.Mfg of anti-static PE bags,CALIBRATION and Testing Services and Fabrication of Jigs and fixtures. We decided to exclude Mfg of AS PE bags due to several records to be maintained. We will include this on surveillance to ensure that system is implemented properly.

We conducted internal audit and MR already..... our benchmark of implementation is May 2....but we are in the business for 12 years .

we document what we do,(docs,wi,guidelines, quality plans..)our weakness is maintaining records at Mfg. side
