Bill,
I'm looking at software for use in creating linked quality documents. What product are you using? and how do you like it?
We use a software called QPLUS - designed and distributed by Harpco Systems. I have praised this software many times throughout this forum. Many of our members in the Cove still prefer to use a spreadsheet, but I will "never" go back to a spreadsheet. It is nearly impossible to screw up your PFD,
PFMEA, and CP with regards to everything "lining up". It forces you to follow the PFMEA methodology. It is somewhat restrictive in that sense. However there is a new beta version coming out which Rich has aked me to try out with some new "bells and whistles".
There are other "relational database" software applications out there. I have tried a few of them, and some of our Covers use various ones. This is the best software I have come across.
Disclaimer: I have no connection to Harpco Systems other than being a user of their software. I receive no financial rewards from Harpco Systems for "promoting" their product.
