Does anyone know about one ISO recommendation that states that customer satisfaction surveys or training effectiveness surveys (the forms) should not be considered as devices according to clause 7.6?
7.6 refers to physical measuring equipment. Such as calipers, tape measures, micrometers, etc. This is meant to be able to actually verify that your product/services are within specification conformance. At least this is my take on this.

No, you where correct!
My question is about that ISO stated in some kind of recommendation that customer surveys forms should NOT be considered as devices according to clause 7.6.
The problem is that now I can't find that statement...

I have attached the first draft of my manual for anyone to review and critique. Please keep in mind that I am going for a very lean ISO system. I appreciate all constructive input that anyone might offer.
One suggestion I would make is to consider re-numbering your procedure documents away from the ISO paragraph clauses ASAP to something more original and unique to your company. The next edition of ISO 9001 is due to be published in late 2015, and the clause structure will be given a major overhaul (a committee draft of ISO 9001:2015 was recently released to give you an idea).
Thank you Insect. I see that the new 2015 draft says that companies will have 3 years to switch over to the 2015 version. I may leave the numbers for now just to ease my guys into the ISO world but I will prep management about the upcoming change.
