Hi there,
If your company is made up of two companies in two different countries (Canada and the USA) and are both certifying to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 as an IMS and share exactly the same processes can they use the same documentation? We have completed Stage 1 audits and the auditor is telling us we have to update US company documents with the address, as well as, the policies and forms. Our policy includes both company names, which are very similar, none of our procedures or forms have the Canadian or US address on them and the logo for the two companies is the same. Our IMS Manual has both company names and addresses on it with a place for the certification numbers. The US is a satellite office two of our PMs work out of, everything else is run out of the Canadian office (head office) and all of our PMs work on projects in Canada and the US. Our processes for both companies are exactly the same and so is our documentation. Can both companies not share the same documentation if they are all exactly the same. Registers for environmental hazards, legal compliance, etc. have information for both Canada and the US companies in one document. Please help clarify why they are asking us to have double the documentation. TIA
