Did you find 50001 a bit easier or less stringent than 16001?
I really don't know: As a matter of fact we started out with a national standard similar to 16001, were told to upgrade to 16001, started the work, only to immediately realise that 16001 was on its way out. Obviously, we skipped it, going straight for its replacement, ISO 50001 instead.
What we
did find out, was that it helps doing your homework, in order to avoid the effort to adapt to standards about to go obsolete.
