Incentives to Encourage Employee Participation

Hello everyone!

I have to answer a government's questionnaire and in it, we are asked if there are incentives to encourage employee participation in a program, and if so, which ones.

The program pertains to security but could be applied to many subjects (health and safety, quality, etc.).

I am looking for an example of a procedure which I could inspire myself to document the program that I will have to implement.

I wonder if you are not already encouraging employee participation without officially recognizing it? Are skilled technicians invited to suggest efficiency tips or improvements? Do process users review procedures and suggest edits? Do operators have any means to suggest safety improvements to prevent injuries involving their machines?

Or do your managers and supervisors give only one-way direction?

The (broken link removed) gives some good insights as their journey was documented. Every organization's journey is intimately their own. I would support a policy but not procedure, because this kind of thing happens starting at the highest level.
