Subject: REQ: Input - Joint Auditing Standard
First Exposure Draft of Joint Auditing Standard
An international working group has drafted a new joint standard for quality and environmental auditing. They are asking for comments from national bodies prior to meeting in San Francisco in September. This standard is still in the drafting stages. Opportunities remain to significantly modify and improve its content.
The USA members of the writing group would like input from potential USA users. (Others are asked to contact their own national standards-writing bodies.) Your thoughts and constructive comments are needed at this important time in the development process. The timeline is very short. We need your input by July 30, 1999, so that we may process our national comments before the international deadline.
If you want a copy of the working draft, along with the required comment template, please send an e-mail message to John Stratton or Mike Ross. They will attach the Microsoft Word files to a reply. Comments received without specific changes shown on the template cannot be used. All comments for this draft document must be received by John or Mike by the end of July.
