I need Inspection Checklist database sample or can someone point me to some software that may help. Basically looking for something to build and store custom checklists. Also able to store findings.

Inspection of what? Are you wanting for something for dimensional measurement results?

Basically a list of basic inspection items which I can customize with input of findings results.

I would print a findings report to submit to our production group while recording the inspection results.

I am a database developer and am building an inspection database for a major oil producer.

What are your requirements and maybe I can help if you don't find something "off the shelf".

I not an expert at MS Access, but what I'm looking for is a way develop custom inspection sheets off of standard inspection items. If I were to be inspecting a new style of fuel tank I would select the standard fuel tank inspection criterias and then add custom items. That inspection would then follow that tank style. I would also like to database the inspection results to be measured against repeat efforts.

It's very similar to the database I'm building for the oil producer.
The database is for a quality inspection on flowline, the gauges etc. They want a standard inspection form with options to add additional items. The additional items are dependant upon the location and type of flow line, cvr, steam, oil. The database will produce their forms, and it will store quality audit data and produce reports.

What is your time frame?

What verson of MS Access do you crrently use?

(FYI, I was originally looking at this board to find some information re: SOP and work instruction standards. I build databases...my bread and butter job, but, I am also in charge of a continuous improvement department in the oil service industry. We are embarking on a journey of ISO Quality System documentation and document control. We are also developing and implementing a system for process audits...my database building sure comes in handy.) Any thoughts? Experience in SOP/work instruction documents?
