Welcome to the Cove :bigwave: - we also hope you have many more posts in the future.

At the top of the page are a few important buttons - behind which is a wealth of down loadable files - try a search through them and you will find plenty examples of integrated manuals.

As for reviewing yours - we would be delighted to offer our thoughts.

Welcome to the Cove, antena :bigwave:
Anyone interested in reviewing "my" QM in about 4 weeks time ?
Like Colpart already said, we can certainly have a look at it. I just thought I'd ask a question right away:

Have your been given any guidelines or such about the format of the manual? In my case the guidelines back when we upgraded to ISO9001:2000) were extremely simple: (Make it lean. As short and to the point as possible). As a result, the manual was the very last thing I did when we upgraded. Today our manual is all of seven pages, making full use of clause 4.2.2b by refering to the documented procedures rather than including them:
ISO9001:2008 said:
The organization shall establish and maintain a quality manual that includes.... ....b) the documented procedures established for the quality management system, or reference to them, and...
Others may choose to include their entire system in the manual. There is no right or wrong about it, just a matter of what fits your company best.

And hey: Good luck with your task. :agree1:

Guidelines ?? hmmm...simple as possible to satisfy all 3 business units (not easy :)) taking into account that ISO 9001 has never been implemented. At the moment I have +/-25 pages with references to QP's.

I really need a good luck:agree1: ...I have 6 months to do this :frust:

Sounds good to me.
taking into account that ISO 9001 has never been implemented.
...but you do have ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 in place then?
At the moment I have +/-25 pages with references to QP's.
Lists? I don't think you have to refer to each single procedure: It ought be quite enough to describe the structure of your system and where those documents can be found. The list of contents could be placed there. As you can see I am trying to save you from a bit of unnecessary work, but I strongly suggest that you talk this through with your registrar to make absolutley certain that they do not take another view on the matter.

Whole quality manual has +/- 25 pages and references to quality procedures (=where those documents can be found).

Oops... A fair bit of work to do then. Speaking of which: How much effort is the company putting into this endeavour? I mean... Just writing a decent system covering those three standards is a pretty big undertaking, not to mention actually implementing it. How many people do you have around, working with those things?

Oh, ok, I misunderstood. Sorry.

Anyway: Let's keep trading info and questions. :agree1:

Not half bad, I guess. At least you are a team, then (it really is quite incredible, but sometimes people answer this question with: Just me). The really important matter is of course that you have the BU managers with you. They have the oomph necessary to shape a project like this into somethiing useful.

Add I am telling you in six months time my head will be full of grey hair:rolleyes:
Join the club. I know exactly what you mean, but that is part of the job, I guess. At least it's not boring is it?
