We are on a PQA journey, our local version of MBNQA. We are trying to integrate its criteria and requirements to our Quality Manual. As a requirement, the top mgt came up with the Vision, Mission, and Values (VMV)while still having the Quality Policy as its summarized version. Then from the VMV, the CEO came up with the Long and short term goals, which supposedly a version of the Quality Objectives. Coming from those goals, the Executive Committee created the Corporate Balanced Scorecard (CBS), a version of the Plans for Quality Objectives to be able to deploy down the line. Now, having those goals already deployed, #1 may I know if it is okey to consider using them as the goal statements of the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, and Plans for QO instead? #2 is it true that ISO9001 Standards is more on the "quality" aspects only of the business unlike MBNQA, which has both the "business and quality" results? Would appreciate your inputs as I'm confused as to how to integrate both because I know that ISO9001 standards & MBNQA criteria are the same and do compliment each other.
