Hi All,

I was wondering if anybody would be able to point me to some best practice presentations, whitepapers or other sources of information relating to best practices/approaches to the integration of multiple HSEQ systems into a single harmonised global system? We are about to begin to integrate about 10 separate HSEQ systems into one and any input to better expedite this would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.:)

Are you talking certification ?
HSEQ system is in itself a good integration. If you have 10 HSEQ at 10 various global location with 3 certificates each (HS/E/Q) that makes 30 certificates.
Please tell me if you intend to get 3 certificates in place of 30 ?
For me such an integration is not best practice. So I doubt if there is any presentations, whitepapers or other sources of information relating to best practices/approaches to the integration of multiple HSEQ systems into a single harmonised global system.
I will wait to see other responses. Meanwhile you can give your reasons why you are beginning such an integration and how this thought came up and what benefits you see.

Hiya, thanks for the response.

All the systems are independently certified, some locations have multiple systems as there are multiple companies in the same location. Also the procedures and other technologies used are different from company to company. There is a mix of QMS hosting environments, Intranets (.net/sharepoint), GIS tools, differing document management systems, some systems are electronic, some paper based etc.

We will look to get 3 global certificates. The reason we are doing this is that all the companies do similar type work globally for the same customer base. Some of the companies are in the same country and do combined bids on project work so a single system makes sense as they will work together onthe projects.

The companies involved on combined project work and their systems must interact well with each other for the project success. The systems must be so adaptable and understand role / responsibility / communication / time management / ~~~ /
It is not needed that a single system be established for this. Businesses have failed with large scale centralization.
Working together does not need a single system. It needs systems co-ordination.
