Before I issue an internal audit report, I always run it past the people I've spoken to in my audit. It's mainly for sanity check (especially when auditing an area I'm not familiar with, to weed out any nonsense in report names etc). Luckily, I have never encountered resistance and my colleagues appreciate seeing the report in draft. It makes them feel more involved and less like being scrutinized.
I'd accept the meting with your auditee and see what she's got to say. It might be a different take on things and lead to improvement.
