Does your internal lab scope need to include measurement uncertainty for gages (measurement systems) we use in our lab?

We are a manufacturing facility producing automotive parts.

We are not a commercial laboratory.

No. The relevant requirements for an internal laboratory scope are listed in 7.1.5.3.1. There is no requirement for measurement uncertainty listed there.

If you choose to meet the requirements of ISO 17025 for your internal lab, that standard requires measurement uncertainty.
