The next IAQG meeting will be in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. We are having a General Assembly meeting for suppliers on Friday April 24, 2009, from 8:15 AM – 5:00 PM.

This will be a great opportunity for suppliers to meet the Quality Leaders of the aerospace industry. Many of your direct customers will be represented at the General Assembly meeting that Friday.

The General Assembly is a communication forum for the worldwide Aerospace community. At this meeting, the goals, objectives, and initiatives of the IAQG are presented, and all attendees are encouraged to network with the leaders of the IAQG and provide input to the IAQG on priorities and objectives.

A number of important subjects will be discussed at the meeting. By attending the General Assembly meeting, you will:
  • learn of the latest initiatives being pursued and promoted by IAQG including
ways to reduce cost through standardization of quality policies and practices
  • have the opportunity to network with key personnel from major
aerospace companies who participate in the IAQG
  • provide the IAQG with the suppliers' point of view
  • have the opportunity to engage industry leaders in the various initiatives being sponsored by the IAQG in discussions and reviews of those initiatives
  • have the opportunity to meet with leading edge companies serving the aerospace industry through the IAQG PEM (see below)
During the General Assembly meeting, attendees will hear from many notable speakers from the IAQG. In addition there will be a keynote speaker from the aerospace industry as well as an address from a representative from our Host company – Honeywell.

One of the highlights of the Phoenix General Assembly will be the Supplier Workshops. This will be a great opportunity to ask industry leaders questions and get information on topics which include: the newly issued 9100 Quality Systems document; the 9100 Other Party System; Supply Chain Management Handbook; Export Control; and the IAQG People Capability initiative and the OASIS system (data base for 9100 accreditations). And for the first time we are having an Open Supplier Forum where suppliers may ask the leaders of the aerospace industry any questions they have about the industry in general. A detailed agenda for the General Assembly will be posted on the IAQG public web pages:
