Hello huutien, and welcome to the Cove :bigwave:

Nobody knows for certain of course, but judging from the way the electronics and software industries keep evolving, I would say that it looks good. As for Software Quality Assurance in particular, I have seen enough flawed softwares to believe that your services will be in demand.

Good luck :agree:

Welcome!!!

I have to agree with Cleas here. One of the big, and almost universal, complaints from us end users is the lack of quality planning and execution by software folks.

I also agree that we do not know what the future brings, but I (and lots of others, I am sure) hope that software quality assurance will become a big growth field.

Good luck!!!!

Dear all, :bigwave:

I will keep to study and improve my knowledge about the SQA.
While I'm working,I'm very interseted in Statistical Process Control and Six-Sigma. So what do you think about them?
You're my consultant,right?

As a SQA role, what abilities/skills we need to work well?

Thanks,

Hello huutien,

Ok, I'll start. Apart from the obvious need to know about quality assurance the business and your processes as such, I would suggest:

:read: Project management skills
:read: Problem solving / Quality tools
:read: Maybe a look in the thread Data Center Audit can spark a few ideas?

There is more of course. I'm sure others will add to the list
