Actually, this policy is as good as any I have ever seen. In the first place I have never seen a policy that really;
1) Added any value to any Quality System.
2) Did anything to further Quality awareness
3) Was understood or even known by all employees
Unfortunately, with the guidelines so directly set out by 9K2K and TS2, the content of almost anyone's Quality Policy is already prophesized. We all know the wording of paragraph 5.3 of ISO 9001. With our seemingly aggressive "back-turning" on documentation I am surprised any one would be concerned about a document that will probably never be read or understood anyway. Usually the only time it comes into play is during the audit.
Yes, this seems to be as good a Qualty Policy as any other. I don't see a framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives though. You know, that is a direct requirement within 5.3
That's what happens when the standard dictates what must be in any certain document, we start reviewing them for that content.
