Is Waste Segregation a Requirement by 14001:2015

In our part of the world it's difficult to get waste disposal companies that evacuate specific wastes; so you will usually find these companies mixing up wastes they pick up at our premises even though we have taken the pain to segregate them. This is demoralizing to employees that have been trained and sensitized to to do the wastes segregation.

What can you say? Is ISO 14001:2015 really requiring companies to make waste segregation? (I do not see that explicitly in there, anyway)
What is the best practice around the globe?

Sometimes your waste disposal company performs the waste segregation at their depot(s). At my last place of employment, we had about 9 (what I think the Americans call) Dumpsters for our waste, 5 for recycling and 4 for non-recyclable. Not long after I started there, I noticed that the waste was being mixed up by our staff and cleaners. When I called the waste disposal company, they told me not to worry as they performed a sort at their depot (which explained why their truck emptied the dumpsters into the same compartment irrespective of what the bins were labelled). The only reason for two different types of waste dumpsters was that they were weighted automatically by the truck that emptied them, and there were different charges per kilogram for recyclable and non-recyclable waste.......
