I recently received a document from an out source company and they are iso9001:2015 but with in there documentation see my snip it 1542134700329.png they only use ISO 9001 and I also see in there stamp is the same 1542134765523.png So my question is this ok. We are ISO 13485:2016 and our NB made us address all documents that just stated ISO13485 had to be changed to ISO13485:2016 so I am not sure if we need to be concerned with this or not. Please advise thanks so much

No real rules regarding this, other than the use of accreditation logos and the registrar marks. Notified Bodies may require something else (but check because sometimes auditors get it wrong)

ISO wants everyone to believe that the Edition of the Standard is certified to is paramount. They have this warning on this page:

For the most part, these warnings and concerns are totally devoided of possible enforcement, but in some cases, where accredited certification to a standard is contractually or regulatory required, it would behoove the organizations to be specific about standard editions and certificates.

Quite a few organizations DON'T actually display their certificate (on their website for example). In which case they frequently use a simple "ISO 9000 Certified" logo/statement. I don't understand why they wouldn't post their certificate, but hey, what do I know...

Well I guess it also leaves a question to which standard are you saying that your current document represents even though you may have made the transition but haven't updated all your documents?

Many companies did the transition with few, if any, changes to their documentation.

If I understand correctly every certification body is required to provide a document that describes the proper use of the certification marks. Ask your CB. Every time one of my consulting clients have asked their various certification bodies for it one has been quickly provided.

The CB that I mainly work with changed the requirement about using the revision year of the standard a few years back. It brought it in line with what I had often observed elsewhere. They no longer require that the revision level be included so ISO 9001 Certified is correct use. They went further to say that if the revision year is used it has to be the correct year.

If you think about it, if you are certified, it has to be to a current one.

Related to it there is also a requirement to show that you are certified so you need to include one of the four words, certified, certification, registered, or registered. I would guess this is because it separates the fakers that claim compliance but are not certified.
