I don't think it is so much that they are not willing to do the environmental stuff (they obviously do...they recycle everything from scrap metal, card board, batteries, even soda cans), and they are very training conscious about safety and fire prevention, I just don't think they get the management "system" part. They whole point is continual improvement once you are set to go isn't it?
All of our audits seem to reflect a RONCO thought process of "set it and forget it". It's like taking 2 steps forward, then 2 steps back. If we were only taking one step back we would still have some forward motion. It is just a continual cycle of fix it then let it die, then scramble to try and fix it again before the next audit.
Maybe I should pound my boot on the desk at the next management review meeting to get some attention on all these issues lol.
