ISO 15189 is only for Medical/clinical labs which are tested Human derived samples, ISO 17025 is for animal labs

I am looking for information on the current state of affairs for ISO 15189:2012. Does anyone know what the percentage conformance to this standard is for EU, Asia and US? Looks like medical labs are all moving this direction but it is unclear how far the industry has gotten.
