ISO 17025 Lead Auditor Training - Punyam Academy

Does anyone have knowledge of Punyam Academy and can tell me whether they are accredited to offer this online course? I see on their website the word "certified" mentioned several times, but nothing about being accredited to teach or offer this course.

I have heard of certification through IRCA and Exemplar Global, not these CPD people.

Their website says they offer "Exemplar Global certified courses" but are they accredited to offer those courses? Do they need to be accredited (I'm thinking, "yes, they do".....

Exemplar Global should have a listing of recognized organizations and approved courses. If they are not there, you have your answer. As for recognition being required for courses, it is always caveat emptor.

Looking at the A2LA site, their 17025 training arm is accredited : AWPT Laboratory Training Courses: ISO Compliance | A2LAWPT

Well, first of all, there is no such standard as "ISO 17025":
ISO/IEC 17025:2017

Channeling CP: "Some sources believe that Punyam (a low-cost Indian training body) has several disagreements with the IEC, and have gone so far as to remove them from the official title of the lab management standard".

I'd feel much more comfortable doing an ISO/IEC 17025 (yes - the actual standard) course from an ILAC member with an MRA which covers that standard:

But it depends on if you are interested in doing a more widely recognized course, or if you are only interested in finding out if Punyam is accredited (which is what you asked).
