thanks to all the comments posted. am particularly interested in what Boscoeee had to say. actually i was referring to the main six procedures required by the standard. you mentioned another eighteen and i lost track. am being advised by a consultant who has implemented the standard for their company. according to him all i needed were these six (document-record control, non-confoming products, internal audit, corrective & preventive action) which cover much of what we do in our company. Much of the documentation process comes in however in documenting work instructions and other secondary procedures like selection of vendors, purchasing...of which i would like to represent by use of flow charts. would that be okay?
