ISO 9001:2015 4.3 Determining the Scope of the QMS

I always associated the scope of the QMS with the statement listed on our ISO certificate where we claimed any exclusions. Our cert currently states "...has established and applies a QMS for consulting, design, production, sales, and installation of flexible bellows and expansion joints; production and sales for technical textiles for thermal and acoustic insulation; production and sales of gaskets." Is section 4.3 asking from something different/more?

Good day @daisisrus ;
The short answer is "no". What is listed on you cert is not wrong. Remember...

Your QMS scope simply identifies what the QMS is applicable to. The scope may identify...
- WHAT your organization does (products, services, market sector, etc..etc...) , for ...
- WHOm your organization provides to/services (health care providers, librarians and their staff, commercial kitchens, etc..etc..)

It is unlikely that any event other than an actual change to your company's business model/products/services, would impact your scope.

Hope this helps.
