Isn't that a horrible thought? We've got to acknowledge that it isn't just the cars, factories, or fossil fuels, it's a total combination of everything that contributes, and just our "being" is a very large piece of the puzzle.

I hope the next ISO 9001 version won't add in 4.1 "The organization shall determine whether breathing, burping and farting are relevant issues".

Then add a Note in 4.2: "Relevant interested parties can have requirements related to breathing, burping and farting". :vfunny:
I'm waiting for the time that I'm doing an audit and I'm told that their GHG emissions were reduced by "X"%, or "X" lbs by reducing the workforce by X and using more AI & robotics.

I know it's coming, I can sense it, just like I could sense what trail not to go down or door to enter.

Human breathing alone averages about 1kg/day of CO2, that's 8.5 billion kg, that's 8.5 million Metric Tons per day or about 3 billion MT per/year..........Nobody is really addressing this reality
That would be about 7% of the anthropogenic CO2 emitted in to our atmosphere. Several carbon capture, storage and usage technologies could easily offset this, provided proper incentives are in place. But, what does this have to do with an organization’s QMS. That is the focus of the amendment in question.

Aren't people part of the organization & QMS? If the "powers to be" want to play stupid "stupid is" then why not play "stupid"?

Right now environmentalists are bemoaning the cattle industry and other aspects of farming as large contributors........."Let's Go Vegan" because cows breath and toot just like us.

And 7% is 7%.

For me as well back in the 70's when I lost 4 teeth after catching some bullet & door fragments in the face on night:vfunny:. (soft foods for quite a while)
 Yeouch! Military or civilian work at that time?

Yeah, I double careered a bunch in the 70's, 80's & 90's. When I came home from "that place" I was just short of being 20 (I went at 17, birthdays 18 & 19 were fun) and because of all the "garbage" going on in 1971, I opted to become a reservist instead of 20 years active, so almost immediately after turning 21 in '72, I went into law enforcement and continued serving in the Marines and later in the Army Reserve & National Guard until my "Grey" retirement in 1997 (my PD retirement was official in '85). I didn't get my "blank check" back until 2011 when I turned 60 and entered full 100% retired status (of course after a short call-up in 2007....scary). So I double careered basically from 1972 onwards. Today I kinda eat ok, but I can't walk that well at times, can't hear, and forget picking up something really heavy (used to bench 300+ & them days are gone)
