I don't think that anybody really knows, but it is being used as a great excuse for increasing taxation by many countries......
The Neandertal knew, they saw the Ice Age end. Probably their fires cause global warming and climate change back then.

Suprised there was never a dramatic ncreas in the 40's and 50's due to the amount of cities raised to the ground and nukes deployed in testing. If that amount of destruction and debris didnt contribute i dont know what else would other than Godzilla levelling Tokyo.

I dont think most people object to the idea of clean water and air. Of treating the environment with as much care as possible. I think this is just the wrong tool to use to address that activity. This needs to occur at a much higher level than the collection of ISO 9001 QMS activity.

Isn't that what TC-176 just did by introducing climate change concerns?
No. First of all, this was not a TC 176 decision. It affected ALL ISO Management System Standards. And the topic of this thread is ABOUT the wisdom of having such mandate on to a QMS Standard. This thread is NOT about climate change.

I can't remember...does ISO plan to add more requirements on this CC issue in the new 9001 revision, or is this amendment all that is planned...for now?

They have to find a couple more goats to rope and catch a few more greased pigs.

OK, it wasn't just TC176. I get it, and I realize that this is not a thread about climate change. My point is that ISO started it by unwisely delving into what many feel is highly controversial.
