Your supplier selection criteria may include “or as specified by the customer”.
The part of the contract that specified the supplier should be in your files (for instant access) or archives (for planned access).
You’d have to consult your procedure for filing and archiving to know when such records are meant to be destroyed.
You may also have kept records of the supplier’s performance per your purchasing procedure.
