That's fine, in fact every single transition audit I've done that's what has happened, normal audit - verify the extra/changed 2015 stuff is happening - report - review - go have lunch. And then I've done my kicking over the trash can - SUCCESS! No muss, no fuss, no crazy re-write everything, jump thru this hoop and that hoop, clean and simple.
Too many people made too much fuss over a simple activity. The audit I just finished TODAY was successful for the organization using the above example of their use of a simple GAP, and filling in any hole without their really changing diddly from the previous year and 2008. Nice little correspondence table pointing to where all the 2015 stuff lines up with the old 2008, done deal.
I don't mean to sound ugly, harsh or simplistic but like I've said, it isn't rocket science, I audit rocket scientists and they don't do this stuff.
