We are getting ready to start our transition of ISO 9001:2008 to the 2015 version. I was informed that the new AS9100D standard is 80-85% the same as the 2015 version with some additions. We will get the AS9100 version to save some money, but I wanted to ask if it would be worth just going for AS9100 certification instead of the basic ISO9001 version.
