Is the turtle format mandatory or can one use tabular format?

There is no required format for process mapping although the turtle diagram is used in training given by AIAG. Most auditors like to see things in a familiar format but any good auditor will adjust to whatever you use. Personally, I find the turtle diagram as a very useful tool in process mapping.

Can you show me examples of turtle diagrams?
