You determined which processes you needed to include in the scope of your management system for your organization to be successful (see 4.1)
You decided to include managing accounts receiveable and managing accounts payable. After all, your invoices are important products to get right and you need them paid promptly so you have the resources necessary to invest in improving your system. And you want to make sure your suppliers of conforming services and products are paid on time. And suppliers of nonconforming services or products need to pay the price of their nonconformity if they are to invest in prevention.
Your management system then is being used and improved to benefit your customers and yourselves. But you may find that your registrar/certification body views it more as an "ISO System" and doesn't bother auditing any process unless they can see it specified by the standard.
