I began working in the corporate office of a company 2 years into ISO 9001:2008 about 1 month ago. There are 3 facilities on the certificate. One of the facilities has moved from Tulsa OK to Houston TX. I need to go to Houston and do an internal audit to get one on the annual schedule (which ends May 1st). My problem is, they use the same intranet system we do at corporate (with all procedures and work instructions) but it's basically just a distribution center. No employees there (including management) know what ISO 9001 even is. I have one full day (tomorrow) to visit Houston and educate and audit them on the standard. My question is; How far do I go with education and auditing on such a situation with such little time?
