In the new ISO standard under 8.2.2 Internal Audit
part a)
It states
Conduct internal audits to determine whether the qms
a) conforms to the planned arrangements (see 7.1)

What does this planned arrangements (see 7.1) actually mean?

In the old standard it said the same thing (planned arrangements) but didn't reference 7.1
What am I missing ???
Gettin' nervous so close to our audit. I don't want a curve ball.
This sounds like a curve ball.

Dont Panic !

Jimmy G----7.1 is the Product Realization section. "Planned arrangements" is just another scary buzz term from our friend on the board. Do 7.1 and you have planned your arrangements:

........shall plan and develop the processes needed for product realization. Planning of product realization
shall be consistent with the requirements of the other processes of the quality management system (see 4.1).
In planning product realization, the organization shall determine the following, as appropriate:
a) quality objectives and requirements for the product;
b) the need to establish processes, documents, and provide resources specific to the product;
c) required verification, validation, monitoring, inspection and test activities specific to the product and the criteria
for product acceptance;
d) records needed to provide evidence that the realization processes and resulting product meet requirements
(see 4.2.4).............

Good Luck and let me know how you're doing !
