Because your CB auditor couldn't think of anything better to write an NC for?
Seriously, you should contest it with the CB's management. The auditor is wrong, plain and simple.

How do we stand with this one. We have not yet been given our 2008 status, and none of our auditors have undergone external 2008 training. It was a decision made at corporate level that there was no need for formal external transition training for internal auditors.
We have taken guidence from our Corporate Quality Leadership Gorup in the US (we are a very large international company) who have provided us with explanatory documentation and trianing material provided by IRCA to conduct in house training and I have been involved with the internal corporate quality group forums and discussion groups accross both Europe and worldwide relating to 2008.
I am currently conducting the training with our group of internal auditors but all of them will not of been trained by the time we have our next external auditor visit. Should they be auditing to 2000 or 2008 prior to us gaining our 2008 status.

I was interupted and timed out on my server connection.
