I've flicked through it and a lot of the clauses are written in the style of a middle grade school essay. I will do a deeper dive in the coming days but I fear it's just as the friend of ours reported.
Just take a look at what "our friend who shall not be named" wrote.

Found on Linked In to keep me from mentioning that other entity....

Looks like a lot of fuss for hardly any changes.
Indeed - thanks to the link posted by Johnny Quality I was able to view the DIS and, for all the travel to exotic locations around the globe, all the discussions that must (?) have taken place, there would appear to be little if any "real" changes or additional requirements. I have made 2 suggestions already, after just one quick read-through

For any UK readers on here, if i was to respond to this i would quote the great Edward Hitler " I'll just put bollocks". As there is nothing of significant change or wasnt being done anyway, minus a few grammatical adjustments its not reinventing the wheel. If im being honest its a bit embarassing for all the time and effort thats gone in for so little, more significant change though perhaps more intensive to implement would be worthwile where as this just seems a bit "meeh".

You know, just because time has passed doesn't require standards to change. Seems like a project to update the QMS with very little benefit.

For example, if I were reviewing an SOP for approval, I would look to see the benefit of the change. Is there any here? Would the products made in 2015 be significantly different from those in 2030 based on these changes? Not likely imo.

And it also benefits the consultants on the committee with opportunities for book sales and consulting jobs, along with the ABs who can charge extra for upgrade audits.
