Re: ISO/TS 16949:2009 Operating Procedures
Does anyone have a template for the ISO/TS 16949 Standard Operating Procedures? I am trying to create the operating procedures and do not know what areas I should leave in or out? Also, is there some specific order that the procedures must be presented in. Thank you.
You are probably asking for the wrong things. ISO/TS 16949 doesn't require 'Standard Operating Procedures'. If you are trying to draw up a set of procedures to meet ISO/TS 16949, then, apart from the so called 'required' procedures (7 of them) all other requirements are supposed to come from your organization. A 'template of ISO/TS procedures' will be of little use to you. In many cases they will not help you much beyond an idea of how to document a quality system, which appears to be what you're asking. Search through the Post Attachments list (green 'button', top of the website) and you'll see what others here have done.
From your questions, it seems to me as if you don't have a copy of the standard.. do you? The specific order you have to present your qms is 'the sequnce and interactions of the processes of the quality management system', which is to say - the way your organization runs! Only your management can define that, no-one else's template will be exact!
Please be careful of 'silver bullets' as a way to get to ISO/TS certification. You will end up with a monster....do you want to have to feed it?
