ISO/TS 16949:2009 Status - Anybody know the target publication date

My side-by-side thorough comparison is a little slow-going. It isn't exactly top priority.

But I'm at the halfway point. I'll post again, with an attachment, when I'm finished.

I have not gotten a copy of ISO/TS 16949:2009. But my understanding was that the only changes were the ones coming from ISO 9001:2008, and there were no modifications to the automotive augmentations. If that is the case, the best side-by-side table is Appendix B of ISO 9001:2008.

So far, there have been a few changes outside of the ISO 9001 text boxes.

The Foreward has been modified.
Section 0.3.1 has been removed.
Section 2 has been modified.
"Statutory" has been added to TS requirements that used to only say "regulatory".
"Product quality" has been changed to "conformity to product requirements" in several TS requirements.

Nothing "major"...but I feel better being aware of ALL the changes.
Like I said in a previous post...you can call me paranoid, I won't be offended.

Anyone using the e-version from AIAG?

If it's installed on your computer are you able to manipulate (copy) the text if say for example i wanted to make a cheat sheet for myself? or is it strictly read only?

Couldn't find this in the description, nor could I find where it is addressed in the end user license agreement. Thanks!

Thanks, Andy. I'm trying to understand what's allowable from AIAG though. Maybe I didn't word my question proper initially. I couldn't find it addressed in the AIAG end user license agreement or in the AIAG product description. What I did see was 'one single user version, one computer'. Upon re-read, maybe it is covered in part 1.b.i.?

I liken it to buying a book and cutting out/highlighting pages for my own use. Maybe that's still infringement. If so I swear I've never done that either.

I ordered our copy from AIAG, price of $90.00. Hand walked the request to accounting and purchasing to get approval signatures. Purchasing manager issued Purchase Order. Then, AIAG said no can do, we don't accept purchase orders under $150.00. If under $150.00 must purchase via credit card. So, had to go back through senior management to one one with a company credit card, re-order and cancel written purchase order. How many other companies mandate a requirement, set a high price for little benefit, then dictate how you can buy it?
