ISO/TS 16949 promotional campaign

i am new in our organization my boss assigned me to make a promotional campaign for iso/ts 16949. i don't know where to start and what kind of awareness materials to used.since, we are currently upgrading our system from QS 9000 to TS this nov.Pls help!

I think your boss has a wrong impression of adapting the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) to meet TS16949 Standards. It may be, however, that he, you, and I simply have different meanings for the word "promotional."

A QMS changeover to encompass TS16949 from an existing QS9000 one should begin with a "gap analysis" to determine "gaps" between your existing system and the one you are targeting.

Instead of "promotional campaign" perhaps you mean "awareness" that the organization will be upgrading its system to one where "processes" are the prime consideration and that more emphasis may be placed on "customer specific requirements."

First things first - you need to make yourself familiar with an overview of TS16949. Then, you and your organization should have a "timeline plan" similar to the sample attached below.
