ISO/TS 5.6.2.1 - Potential Field Failures on OEMs

Hi everyone,
I need help with better understanding the requirement ISO/TS 5.6.2.1.
I'm a fresh in this "topic". We are direct supplier to OEM's.
If we consider the actual field failures - we consider the warranty claims from the final user (the person who drives the car).
If we consider the potential field failures - we consider all field failures from FMEA which can have impact of the final user (not OEM's)?
Am I right?
Please, help me to better understand this requirement.

Yes. When potential field failures are discovered as a result of your dFMEA and pFMEA process, they need to be escalated for Management Review. The purpose is management awareness and that management provides the necessary resources to mitigate those risks.
