Welcome to the Cove, burikusu. :bigwave:

The simplest way for you to conduct a gap analysis would be to be look at the standard's requirements and determine whether or not your organization is in conformance to them.

It does not matter if your organization is in the construction industry or chemical industry or is a hotel...the requirements are the same. Your organization simply needs to determine if you conform, if it's effective and develop an action plan from the results.

Hi burikusu,
In identifying the gap analysis, you need to create a sheet, i.e. first column (Current Practice), second column (ISO9001 Requirements), 3rd column (Gap Analysis), as you identify the ISO9001 requirements you will quickly determine what are lacking in your company. There are 6 Mandated Procedures for ISO9001, namely document control procedure, control of records procedure, control of nonconforming product procedure, internal audit procedure, corrective action procedure and preventive action procedure. Plus your Quality Manual.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Raffy

6 axis - that's a nice question, but an impossible task, really. We have no idea what industry you're in, no clue about how many people you've got and what they will be doing! So, I'd suggest you take a look at the attachments others have put here for other - the green 'Post attachments' button at the top of the page - and take a look at things which suit you, there.
