Issue with "Since Last Visit" Search

Although there are posts since my last visit and 'You Last Visited:11 hours Ago" is correct, the search results in "Sorry No matches etc". The "Posts Last 24 Hours" search is ok. Are others reporting similar issues?

Yes, I can confirm it. I just logged on due to a new post notification and realized that I have the same problem. The arrows indicating a new posts seem to be missing as well.

Hmmmmm.... I just visited and did the "Since Last Visit" and threads came up.

I'll check at vB and see if there is a bug complaint yet.

I just noticed that when I use the "Posts Last 24 Hours", the "You Last Visited" displays the incorrect elapsed time. Instead of 4 hours it indicates 1 or 2 minutes.

I'm wondering if this is a cookie issue. I got the e-mail saying there was a new post in this thread and came to the site. I looked at both last 24 hours and since last visit and it shows the correct time of my last visit in both screens.

Aha... It may be. The problem occured at home, but here at work everything works like a charm. I'll kill the cookie at home and see what happens.

I become suspicious when I can't reproduce a problem myself. That's why I thought it may be a cookie issue or other machine specific problem.

Maybe I spoke too soon: Now I have the same problem here at work. Deleting cookies did not cure it...

I don't know at this point. I logged out 22 minutes ago (as in clicked the logout link). I don't normally log out, but do now and again. Got your reply e-mail above. Came to site, logged in and did new posts 'Since Last Visit' search. There was 1 post that showed.

I then did the Last 24 Hours and a number of posts showed. I looked at the list and only 1 new post had been made in the previous 22 minutes. OK - That correlates.

Claes, you were saying in one post that new post arrows were missing or something like that as well?

Maybe I'm missing something here. I'm not saying that the update to vB 3.0.6 didn't induce a new 'bug', but so far I can't reproduce the problem (new posts have been made since the 'last visit' but don't show when the 'Since Last Visit' link is clicked on.

I'll check the vB site in a bit and see if anyone there is reporting the problem.

Anyone else having problems with this?

Yes, but not anymore... I cleared everything again.... and now it seems ok. I'll do the same thing at home tonight and report the results.
