I see the length varies for each install. If there is a pre-visit before the install process then that person who visits can measure for the length of hydraulic hose needed and the fittings. You could then pick one good vendor and have them make the hose to order. I'm making the assumption that there is time for that. In this way you can focus on one vendor and develop them into a terrific performer.

The other piece after root cause is found is to eliminate it. Just adding the point that writing it down on a report is not the reason we need to find root cause. If the hose is moving around too much then perhaps it could have some supports added to limit the movement. And if that is the root cause then replacing the hose with a new one will not fix the issue. It will move around again and break again.
